Banana cookies

Well, I never heard from anyone who does not like cookies. When I really need something to go with cup of tea then what is better than homemade cookies. I have been trying banana cookies for a while now, you can simply munch those anytime. Always tasted so great but sometimes becomes too sweet. This recipe turned out great. Simply using bananas with some cashew nuts, they become chewy. You can replace some flour with more cashews; i think, it would taste even better. Anyways here goes the recipe my way.

Ingredients:

2 small bananas
11/2 cup wheat flour
2 tablespoon unsalted butter room temperature
2 tablespoon cashews crushed coarsely
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2teaspoon cardamom
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Method:
Preheat the oven to 350* Fahrenheit. Grease the baking sheet with butter/ghee. Mix butter and sugar well. Add cardamom, baking powder and bananas and mash it well together. Add flour little by little, followed by crushed cashews. Make drop in cookies with spoon full dough. Bake 18-20minutes. Makes almost dozen cookies.

Enjoy. See you with my next post, till then take care. Have a nice day everybody. Bye bye.

  2. I appreciate your honest comment, I am kind a agree with it.Drop in cookies, specially using fruits becomes spongy, chewy more like cake.....may be that's the reason it look like pakoda.
